Donation To Anaphylaxis Awareness

Mrs Kennedy, mummy of Connor in P1 is pictured accepting a cheque for £300 presented by a selection of our younger children. The donation was made following the recent awareness raising campaign led by Connor in relation to Anaphylaxis, a condition about which he knows a huge amount. We are all more knowledgeable and tuned into the simple steps that we can take to reduce risks for our children who take anaphylactic reactions.

A huge 'thank you' to Connor and his mummy for doing such a good job in educating us, Mrs Mc Quillan who co-ordinated everything within school and all P1 pupils and parents who gave such a generous donation to this worthy cause. Knowledge is a very valuable thing and we are certainly a wiser school as a result of this great campaign.
