Google Cardboard!

Google Cardboard!

Our teacher Mrs McParland brought Google cardboard into our class for us to try out. Google cardboard is a fantastic invention that allows you to experience virtual reality in a fun, simple way.

Using a cardboard headset you insert a mobile device (smart phone) with a special type of app open, put it over your eyes and look around you.

It is so much fun to use, and it was so handy in a classroom as we used it to help us with our World Around Us topic, ‘Space’.

We used Google Cardboard to explore the Solar System and learn about the planets.

It would also be really helpful for anyone learning about different countries. Mrs McParland found an app on her mobile phone that showed us landmarks from countries of the world and a museum room full of dinosaur bones!

I loved working with Google Cardboard and found it very useful.

I would recommend it to everyone.
